She focuses on upcycling unwanted garments into a brand new products, such as handbags. By using this method the amount of garments that would normally end up at the landfill or would be shipped to other countries and become a waste is eliminated.She set up her business 3 years ago but the whole idea came around 5 years ago. Her bestseller ‘The Period Comic’ has helped educate thousands of young girls globally about periods and puberty. Her passion for charity work has given her opportunity to work with various governments on promoting equality. She is actively involved in the campaign against period poverty in the UK.
