Holcim and its world-class corporate partners Bouygues Construction, Mott MacDonald and Sika want to take innovation one step further by pushing the construction sector towards a carbon efficient future! The third season of the Accelerator program is looking to innovate on a global scale with the help of countries around the world. From America to Australia and passing through major countries in Europe, get ready to have your voices heard. Take part in the action from January 2022 to December 2022.

Each country will have a detailed challenge definition with the theme: Carbon Efficient Construction. Then, selected startups and innovative companies in each respective country will have 6-months to develop the solutions that will help their country get closer to a sustainable future.

Think you got what it takes?
The 9 countries will be on the hunt for:
- Easy and fast implementation of new low-carbon solutions in the construction sector (e.g. bio-based materials)
- Sustainable development in building materials and construction methods (e.g. innovative precast composite elements)
- Promotion of the circular economy in construction materials and valorisation of new waste materials (e.g. by-products from other industries)

The Holcim Accelerator Season 3 will unfold like this:
27th of March, 2022: End of applications
11th-30th of April, 2022: Selected startup announcement
May, 2022: Onboarding for startups, with a dedicated 2-days online event in May (Sprint)
June, 2022: Beginning of the acceleration program
December, 2022: Get ready to present your demos!
